Welcome to Wildflower Culture

I’m so glad you’re reading this! Let me share the heart behind my art:

I started painting during the pandemic in 2020. On November 20th 2020, I finally found the courage to start an Instagram page for my art and creative works: @wildflowerculture. 😊 Apart from painting, I also enjoy creative journaling, which explains my never-ending obsession with washi tape and stickers.

Confession: For the longest time, I never dared to consider myself an artist because I can’t paint like everyone else. I can’t draw like everyone else; I can’t even draw basic things like flowers or faces (I still can’t), but that’s okay!

In 2020, I found freedom in abstract art. I found joy in experimenting with various colors and mediums. Art became the soul therapy I never knew I needed. As I learned to walk away from the doubts and insecurities that made me feel ashamed or unworthy, I began to find the courage to create what I love. The abstract process has taught me a lot about showing up courageously and unapologetically in my art, which is often intuitive and unplanned.

Too often, we listen to the voices that keep us small, forgetting that we have it in us to conquer the very things we thought impossible.

@wildflowerculture was conceived as a hobby but birthed as a vision. It’s more than just a collection of abstract paintings and creative journaling — it’s a culture of embracing the joy in being who we are and finding the courage to bloom where we are planted, unrestrained and unapologetic, deeply rooted in the truth that we are wholly & fully loved by the Creator.

It’s a culture that doesn’t judge or compare, one that values purpose and progress over perfection. We are born to be unique, to love and be loved, to blossom with confidence and courage. I really hope that my art & words can encourage other creatives too.

And that’s the heart behind Wildflower Culture. 😊 Thank you so much for reading this, and if you have an art account too, please share it in the comments below. I’d love to check it out!
